Our STORY
The Conversation Church was planted in Dundalk, MD on January 1, 2021. Built on biblical principles, we exist to grow together in the love of Christ by building disciples and helping those who are hurt by life, experience the love of Christ through God's word, intentional prayer and faith development, and fellowship among our community and the world in a COMFORTABLE, WELCOMING, and ENGAGING environment- fit for the whole FAMILY!
Our BELIEFS
In conversation and community together, we share and value the apostle Paul’s strong emphasis on repentance and the reassurance of God’s grace, mercy, and love that extends to all of God’s children which was done at the expense of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The Conversation is a no judgment zone, as we have all fell short of sin. We believe that our values are not limited to just one body of Christ, but the whole body of Christ regardless of age, race, and gender. In addition, we strive to be an ACTS 2:42 congregation. Therefore, together we share in a strong emphasis on each of the following as our core values:

Our LEADERS
CHRIS ALLEN SR.
Founder & Lead Pastor
Pastor Christopher Bryant Allen Sr. is a husband, father, professor, and native of Baltimore, MD. At the age of twelve he conducted family bible studies for his family in addition to upholding various leadership roles and serving as a youth pastor in Annapolis, Maryland. Lead by God, in 2020 Chris and his wife Dominique Dingle-Allen founded The Conversation Church where he currently serves as the Lead Pastor. Pastor Chris is lead under the spiritual covering of several mentors and elders. Chris’ favorite verses are Psalms 9:1-2, “I will praise you, O Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonders, I will be glad and rejoice in you; I will sing praise to your name, O Most High” (N.I.V). Chris believes that these verses serve as a testament to his love for God and the wonderful grace of God that has been extended to each of us!
CHRISHELLE PETTY
Minister of Congregational Care
Chrishelle Petty is the Minister of Congregational Care at the Conversation Church of MD. The
wife-to-be also has a background in mental health and is a skilled communicator, advocate, and
leader called to reform broken systems through facilitating healing and thriving in individuals,
families, and communities. She is a woman after God’s own heart and encourages others along for
the ride, standing by them through life’s many challenges to remind them of God’s unconditional
love. Her favorite scriptures embody her life’s calling and relationship with the Lord: Micah 6:8,
Psalm 139, and Ezekiel 36 and 37.
